In this introduction to sweep rowing, our adult students will learn the basics of rowing in a multi-person team boat and establish a foundation for further participation in the sport.  Participants will learn proper terminology, equipment handling, and the basics of the rowing stroke, in a stable, team like environment.  Athletes who are interested in furthering their skills are encouraged to up for additional successive sessions. This program is recommended for adults with little to no rowing experiences who are interested in learning the sport of rowing in a multi-person boat or those who are looking to get back into sweep rowing after an extended absence.  Also great for people who have already taken the class once and want to continue building their skills.
