The Statute of Freedom on the US Capitol watches the sunrise everyday. It is our duty to watch the sun set... but on kayaks. Join us as we paddle around the historic Anacostia river and check out sites like the Capitol, Navy Yard, USS Barry, and Fort McNair. The tour lasts 1.5 hours. Great for beginner paddlers and includes kayak, life jacket, paddle and our awesome guides!
As the sun falls over Washington D.C., our adventure begins! We start with a brief kayaking and safety instruction followed by a 90-minute guided paddle around Teddy Roosevelt Island, paddling past iconic D.C. locations like Watergate, the Lincoln Memorial and Kennedy Center as our guides comment on interesting and unique facts of the area that you will only hear from Key Bridge Boathouse! Price is $45 and includes your kayak, life jacket and paddle.

Our journey begins are the sun falls over Alexandria. We paddle around Smoot's Cove, under the architecturally interesting Wilson Bridge, catch the sunset by Old Town, then turn around to see National Harbor and the Capital Wheel all lit up!
The tour last about 90 minutes. The price includes our guides, kayak, paddle, and life jacket.

Looking to get out on a paddle, but don't know your aft from your anchor?
During our two hour lesson, our seasoned instructors will go over boating safety, equipment, basic strokes and maneuvers to get you pointed in the right direction! This class is geared toward first-time boaters looking to get acquainted with the water and learn some basic strokes and maneuvers in a kayak. Includes boat rental, life jacket, paddle and the basic skills you'll need to navigate the Potomac. Classes are capped at 8, so you'll have plenty of direct instruction.
Are you hooked? Caught the kayaking bug, and ready to bring your skills to the next level? This hour and a half class is geared toward the novice paddler who has been in a kayak a time or two but wants to learn more. Learn efficient stroke techniques to help you paddle greater distances; improve your ability to maneuver the boat around those obstacles in your way; and review water safety techniques to keep your paddling companions and yourself safe on the river, like what to do if your boat tips over.
Our instructors have spent years in Australia, Hawaii and California learning the fine art of SUP (Stand-Up Paddleboarding) just to teach you!
The 75 minute class goes over basic water safety, how to launch and dock, how to stand on the board, proper stroke form and all the necessary techniques in between. Price is $35 per person and includes our higher end Soft Boards and carbon paddles - so you look like a pro from the start.
By the end, you'll be surfing up and down the Potomac!
Brah! Grab your Go-Pro and get ready to take your paddleboarding game to the next level! In this 75 minute class, you will learn sweet new turns, fancy footwork, advanced strokes, and improved forward stroke. We use our shorter, higher-end boards, reserved for classes only.
This class is designed for students with prior SUP experience. Looking for experience? Try our 101 class!
SUP Fitness: the workout created by Poseidon himself! Our class takes place entirely on the stand-up paddleboards. From the warm-up, to the explosive bodyweight exercises, to the paddle sprints, everything is on the water. Are you ready for a killer workout and an awesome time? Come join us! Each 1 hour 15 min is just $35 and includes our higher-end Soft boards and carbon paddles.

The tranquility of floating on water and the meditative nature of yoga are in natural harmony during SUP Yoga. Enjoy the low-impact, muscle-toning, great outdoors SUP experience while moving and breathing mindfully through yoga poses on the board.
Classes are 1 hour & 15 minutes; no yoga experience required.

Can you hear the water rolling gently under the floating docks, the sun rising gently over Washington, the start of a new day gently awakening the soul. Tranquility... serenity... bliss... etc. This is Saturday morning sunrise yoga on the docks!
This is an hour long class. Please bring your own mat (we only have floating ones).
Join us for an early morning paddle with fellow paddling enthusiasts! Our instructors will pick the day's route, everyone will get on their boards, then we will paddle, and laugh, and have a general great time. After the paddle, we will usually go to a local coffee shop for some bean!
This is a great way to meet fellow paddling enthusiasts, get on the water before anyone else, and start your day off right!
